We support, develop and tour work across England, Wales and Scotland to raise awareness of the richness of oral cultures and the excellent contemporary artists who are inspired by this source material. As a company, we are based in the historic mills of Cromford, Derbyshire. We work closely with partners in Wales, including our artists, creative team members and partners Felin Uchaf, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Cardiff University School of Welsh and Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival. Our latest productions are epic stories with music from a range of cultures - West Africa, Wales, Finland, Persia/Iran.
